- Reach before sunset and enjoy one of the most stunning dusk possible in Goa
- Heritage sites of Basilica Church are on the way to this place so you can cover that first
We were in Goa without an itinerary and therefore we were here one evening after reading a blog that mentioned this as one of the hidden gems. So it was. We arrived a few minutes before sunset and were mesmerised by the view from the mount itself.

The Chapel itself is closed for a long time although the surrounding premises are maintained. The main attraction is the front of the chapel which overlooks the Mandovi river as it merges with Arabian Sea. The lush green spread for as far as you see adds to the beauty. Sunset is special in this landscape. It was bit cloudy on the day we were there but still we could see the different hues that scattered through this pretty landscape.

We waited till the sun was set. Darkness comes quickly in September and since not many people visit this place we decided to move out quickly and hit for Baga for our resort.
